As a few months old brand, having established a ‘Bestseller’ is surreal.
But, that's not exactly how we feel. The Burberry Trenchcoat, Bulgari Serpenti, Cartier Love Bracelet & Devija Kata Earrings. (Okay, maybe that was a bit much...) All brands from luxury to streetwear have that one ‘iconic’ product which defines them. But, also pigeonholes them.
In pursuit of a niche, brands pigeonhole themselves into a dead-end tunnel that stops them from expanding value, styles, products and basic experimentation. Maybe, we are also close to that point, the one that stops us from expanding & experimenting.
Full Disclosure. We’re feeling the stagnation- in sales, in content and in our pace. Which makes us wonder- was Thehराव not what we expected it to be? Or did we simply underestimate Kata?
But, that’s not stopping us. From working on better pieces, better content, better strategy and hopefully a better month.
We do have a message for the Kata Earrings though- Pls stop hogging all the attention.
